Life, its what happens while we are busy making plans

I know it's been a while since my last blog post, mainly because I haven't felt like I have much to blog about. The first half of the year has been a challenge to say the least. Life in corporate America is a struggle, planning a wedding is stressful, and did I mention I bought my first house? Like many of us, when life piles on the stress, I got away from my healthy habits and didn't lose any weight for 4-5 months. Luckily, I kept up with some of my healthy eating habits, like smaller portions and lighter versions of my favorite foods. About 2 months ago, I found my gym buddy and got back into the habit of exercising 4 times a week. I cannot express how much I dread that first 10 mins of my workout. But, after that, when my blood starts pumping, it's like I sweat away all of my troubles. The feeling after a workout makes me feel so accomplished.
